It was November that she received her call and on a Thursday. Scott (Dad) drove as fast as he could from Phoenix to get here so we could open the mission call. Everyone gathered about 9pm. There was a lot of speculation on where she would be called to serve. Lots of people said "foreign." When she opened the call and it said "Baton Rouge, Louisiana." My first thought was "you can't get much more foreign than that!!!" She didn't want to serve where there were bugs...oh well. She's not crazy about seafood...oh well. She hates wearing nylons...oh well. She's gonna LOVE IT!
