We got to talk with Stacy for about an hour on Christmas day! We received this picture Christmas morning from Brother Eric Howard. His family hosted this group of missionaries for Christmas Eve dinner. They also went caroling. He mentioned Stacy's beautiful voice and how it made their caroling much better! She said at one point after singing the verse a couple of times she thought she would try to sing the alto part. When she went to do that, somehow everyone lost the melody until she went back to it!

While we were waiting for her call, we put together a puzzle of a picture (photo) she had ordered and sent to us of her and Sister Choal from her last area. It was from the same photo group as the picture at the top of this blog. SO CUTE!!!

She made our family's traditional breakfast bread pudding with blueberries and cream cheese and then opened her presents. Her companion, Sister Aka had already opened her presents a few days before! What's that about! They were at a new converts house for dinner and to call home. She also shared her sweet testimony of the gospel with us and how the mission has affected her life. She was so grateful for Christmas cards and presents from many friends and family and said to tell you all THANK YOU!!!

We were also able to talk with her new companion, Sister Aka. Her family is from West Valley, Utah.

Now to wait for our Mother's Day phone call!
